The whiskey is aged in oak barrels for at least three years, which gives it its distinctive flavor and color. Jameson Irish Whiskey is triple distilled, which means the liquid is passed through three separate stills to create a smoother, more refined spirit. This process converts the sugar into alcohol, creating a liquid called “wash.”Īfter fermentation, the wash is transferred to copper pot stills for distillation. Yeast is added to the mash, and the mixture is left to ferment for around 60 hours. The next step is fermentation, which takes place in large oak vats. The grains are then milled and mixed with water to create a mash, which is heated to release the sugars. It all starts with the selection of the finest grains – malted and unmalted barley, and maize (corn). When it comes to Jameson Irish Whiskey, the production process is a carefully crafted and time-honored tradition. A common misconception about the flash hider is that it removes the white indicators on your opponent’s screen that show which direction you’re firing from and that it hides your bullet trails. The in-game description makes it sound like this attachment only helps with single fire weapons like pistols and DMRs but this is not the case.įlash Hider The flash hider reduces muzzle climb and improves stability for the first 3 shots. Muzzle Brake Reduces muzzle climb more than the other barrels, particularly on the first shot, and also re-centers the crosshair faster, resulting in extremely tight 2-3 shot bursts and allowing for less time between bursts. Now, a primer on what each barrel attachment does, since the game is very bad at explaining them. How much and how often the weapon kicks to the left and right. Shari Mendes, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reservist who looked after the bodies of female soldiers killed during the attack, also described the evidence she saw, saying many of the bodies arrived in “bloody shredded rags or just an underwear and their underwear was often very bloody.” All the bodies outside were burnt,” Richert said, reading from another testimony. “We heard girls that were pulled out from the shelters. Yael Richert, superintendent, Israel Police We heard girls that were pulled out from the shelters. “There were girls with broken pelvis due to repetitive rapes, their legs were split wide apart in a split,” Richert quoted one survivor of the Nova music festival massacre as saying. She quoted testimonies of several individuals all of whom either directly witnessed sexual violence or saw clear evidence of it. She said survivors of the terror attack told investigators they witnessed Hamas terrorists perpetrating sexual violence against the victims. While Greyman spoke about his experience from the search and rescue operations, Yael Richert, a superintendent with the Israel Police, shared information gathered during the investigation so far. The evidence of sexual violence presented during the session at the UN was ample and overwhelming and came from different sources. Personal effects are scattered around the Supernova Music Festival site, where hundreds were killed and dozens taken by Hamas. However, several first responders who attended the scenes of the October 7 attack told CNN the attacks were overwhelmingly gruesome and that some female victims were found undressed. One body was so severely brutalized that he and his colleagues from ZAKA, the ultra-orthodox Jewish human remains recovery organization, couldn’t tell whether it was a man or a woman. Simchat Greyman had to pause several times when describing the evidence of sexual violence he saw when recovering bodies of victims of the October 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel. The simple combos that got you through the game the first time need to be refined and tweaked in the harder modes. The difficulty ramps up quickly, with more aggressive enemies and faster reflexes required to dodge and counter their attacks. You need to beat the game at least once to unlock Hard (and again to unlock Non-Stop Infinite Climax, the hardest difficulty setting). The combat is very easy to pick up but hard to master, which is why only the Easy and Medium difficulties are available at first. This mechanic looks and feels very powerful, and makes the combat really enjoyable. The timing for dodging to trigger Witch Time is generally pretty generous, so it's common to slip in and out of slow motion when fighting a crowd of enemies. Witch Time slows down all of the action for a few seconds and lets you chain powerful attacks together while the enemy is vulnerable. To trigger Witch Time, simply dodge (R2 button) an enemy just before they hit you. Then there's Witch Time, Bayonetta's signature combat mechanic, and what separates the series from Platinum's other action games (even if similar, less intricate features can be spotted in Transformers: Devastation and Nier: Automata). Alternatively, you can or trigger Umbran Climax mode to turn every hit into a Wicked Weave for a short period of time. You can also build up a magic meter while fighting and perform powerful Torture Attacks on enemies. For example, you can end combos with powerful Wicked Weave attacks that summon demons made of Bayonetta's hair to hit with a massive fist or set of jaws. There are whips, twin swords, a katana, a scythe, a bow and arrow, and even a set of flamethrowers, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and combo strings.īasic attacks and combos only scratch the surface of Bayonetta 2's combat system. She can even mix and match pairs of them to find the best combination that suits your own personal play style. Bayonetta is best known for fighting with guns on her hands and feet, but she gets a variety of weapons beyond them. Action is fast and tight, combining light and heavy (punch and kick) melee attacks with Devil May Cry-style gunplay for positioning and continuing combos. Or, to better explain the premise, it's a Platinum game.īayonetta 2 is one of the best examples of Platinum Games' ability to craft satisfying, accessible, and complex combat systems. It's weird, bombastic, and sexy, starring agency-filled, powerful female protagonists that essentially striptease-fight cherubic golden monsters over the balance of the world. If you're unfamiliar with the series, Bayonetta (the protagonist) is a dark witch who summons demons using her hair (which is also her clothing) and fights angels with pistols on her hands and feet. Bayonetta 2, in particular, is a fantastic action game and once again earns our Editors' Choice. You can purchase Bayonetta 2 and the original Bayonetta as a bundle in physical or digital form for $59.99, though you can also buy them separately on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $49.99 and $29.99 respectively. Now, more people can play this excellent action game (as well as its very good predecessor) and enjoy the Switch's portability. That's why we are so excited to see the Nintendo Switch ports of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2. Unfortunately, because it was a Wii U exclusive, not nearly enough people got to play it. Best Hosted Endpoint Protection and Security Softwareīayonetta 2 was one of the best games on the Nintendo Wii U. Presenter: You make them seem very cold and calculating. No tattoos, or piercings, or black leather, or make-up or anything. Their stylists have been instructed to keep them looking individual, but despite that they all have this attractive but unthreatening look. You'll have noticed that they don't wear the same clothes. Actually, One Direction's clothes also help here: chinos and clean casual shirts and canvas shoes. They present this image of a clean-cut, reliable boyfriend. Lots of girls want to feel wanted, but not scared, and that's traditionally what boy bands do. 'You don't know you're beautiful, that's what makes you beautiful', that kind of thing. The lyrics to the songs are calculated to appeal to girls who feel a bit insecure about themselves, like most teenage girls. Presenter: What age group does One Direction appeal to exactly?Īlana: That's another clever thing, they seem very unthreatening, so they appeal to very young girls, they are cute so teenage girls really like them, but they also have a laddish, slightly naughty side to appeal to the mums! The teenage girls and the mums are the ones who will spend money. They felt as if they had a personal stake in their story as they voted for them every week. You had loads of people watching them every week and wanting them to win. Anyway, One Direction, as you know, came to fame through the X Factor, a reality show, and that was a great way to start. Presenter: Ah, I've been counting the seconds before you mentioned One Direction!Īlana: Well, we have to talk about them because they're the biggest thing at the moment, although who knows how long they will last.Īlana: We'll see. Presenter: So, do you think this all still holds true? Or have things changed in the 21st century?Īlana: Yeah, I guess things have changed for several reasons – partly just because we needed a change – but mainly because of changes in the media and with new technology. There's someone in the band for everyone. Īlana: Yeah, although sometimes they all just seem to like the cute one! The idea is that different boys appeal to different girls, so you can have a bigger fan base. Presenter: Right, the cute one, the rebel, the joker, the shy one, mysterious one. The most important element, however, was said to be that the band members had different and very distinct personalities. They tended to wear the same, or very similar clothes when they performed, so you had to decide on a 'look' for the group. The traditional formula is that you have four or five good-looking young guys with some musical ability and the ability to dance – the choreographed dancing was very important to boy bands in the past. Alana, it can't be as easy as following a formula, can it?Īlana: No, I don't think so. But many bands appear and disappear without a trace. It does not store any personal data.Presenter: The internet is full of articles about what makes a good boy band. I'll start with Trish- I love Austin & Ally to death and I definitely love Trish for her badassery and her savage sense of humor, but I have to be honest. If you like KC Undercover, be my guest, but just know that I would rather get in a car with a drunk driver than suffer through one episode of this horrific atrocity.īack to KC and what a terrible person she actually is, let's compare KC to similar characters such as Trish De La Rosa from Austin & Ally or Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place. It's rather unpleasant and cringeworthy to watch. People think the family dynamic is funny, but in my opinion, it's anything but funny. In fact, they often join them in bullying Ernie. KC and Judy relentlessly pick on Ernie, and the parents do nothing about it. She constantly talks down to Marissa, who she apparently calls her friend, she bullies Ernie and torments him, blatantly disrespects and talks and acts rudely to her parents and isn't held accountable for it, treats everyone in her path like they are inferior to her, and doesn't seem to give a fuck about anyone outside of herself and what she wants and what benefits her. KC is stuck-up, self-absorbed, rude, mean, and condescending and I WANT TO SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF HER. KC is by far the worst and I hate her guts. With the exception of Ernie and possibly Marissa, the characters are all horrible people. The show literally glorifies bullying and child abuse in the sense that the "family" constantly derides and bullies Ernie. Second off, the messages and morals in the show are despicable. In fact, it looks like the Tyler Perry version of Kim Possible. First off, the show rips off of Kim Possible. A majority of the shows on Disney Channel since Dog with a blog are absolute garbage and KC Undercover is by far the worst. I'm sorry but I absolutely despise the show KC Undercover on Disney Channel. |
